Carlos Alvarez as born in Medellín, on the 4 of February 1963. He started his career in theater in 1984 and is professional mime artist since 1991.
In the last 12 years he has participated in many national and international theater, puppet and mime
Carlos Alvarez presents a versatile work in every sense of the word; with the combination of several techniques with which the colorful spectacle of surprises fills and attracts the attention of children and adults, whether in a theater or a non conventional space.
The works of this actor touches tender, humorous and amusing themes using the optical illusions of mime, the grace of puppets and the wackiness of clown supported by music and the sound effects.
Due to his artistic quality, Carlos Alvarez has been invited to diverse festivals and events in Miami, Costa Rica, France, Latin American Festival of Theater of Manizales and Latin American Festival of Theater of Bogota 1997
